Dr. Premsagar has worked in reputed institutions of India and abroad. After finishing his formal neurosurgery training at the prestigious King George’s Medical College, Lucknow with gold medal, he joined Safdarjung hospital, New Delhi as consultant neurosurgeon. He was awarded Commonwealth medical fellowship and worked at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol (UK) in Skull Base Surgery unit.
Later, he joined RML Hospital as head of department in Neurosurgery and developed the department to greater heights. There, he also started DNB and MCh teaching programs in Neurosurgery. He has trained many neurosurgeons.
He has also worked in prestigious institutions in USA; Detroit Medical Centre, Detroit and Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland.
He also worked as Director of Neurosurgery at Thumbay group of hospitals in the UAE. There, he developed full-fledged Neurosurgery hospital at Thumbay hospital, Azman.
Currently, he is working as Chief of Neuro and Spine Surgery at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Delhi.

Dr Premsagar has been a national faculty for neurosurgery training.
Presently he is running post MCh fellowship program for training if neurosurgeons in neuro and spine oncology.
